Deck overview

This deck is a Golgari Elf tribal strategy built around Lathril, Blade of the Elves. It leverages efficient low-cost mana dorks such as Llanowar Elves and Birds of Paradise alongside fast artifact ramp to cast Lathril on Turn 3. On Turn 4, Lathril attacks through early blockers using built-in menace to spawn 1/1 Elf Warrior tokens. The deck rapidly snowballs creature count across Turns 5 and 6 using anthem effects, token producers, and burst mana from Three Tree City. It closes the game on Turn 7 through decisive overrun effects like Craterhoof Behemoth or Ezuri, Renegade Leader, or by tapping ten Elves with Lathril to drain opponents for 10 life per activation. While the deck possesses strong resilience against targeted removal via Steely Resolve and regeneration, it remains susceptible to sweepers that exile or reduce toughness. It functions as an assertive go-wide aggro engine that overwhelms tables through sheer board velocity.
