Deck overview

This deck is a Gruul (+1/+1 counters + artifact destruction) tribal Ape/Monkey strategy helmed by Kibo, Uktabi Prince. The primary game plan uses Kibo's tap ability to create Banana tokens (ramp + life gain for the whole table), his attack trigger to force artifact sacrifices, and the resulting +1/+1 counters on every Ape or Monkey you control to grow an overwhelming board. The deck leans heavily on +1/+1 counter multiplication (Doubling Season, Branching Evolution, The Earth Crystal, Primal Vigor) and a dense suite of artifact destruction (Uktabi Orangutan, Gorilla Shaman, Bane of Progress) to both feed Kibo's pump and deny opponents key pieces. Combat is the primary win condition, leveraging Uncivil Unrest double-damage, Beastmaster Ascension, and Flopsie, Bumi's Buddy for evasion. No infinite combos are present; the deck wins through incremental value and a midrange beatdown.
