Deck overview

This deck is a high-powered Temur stompy strategy helmed by Animar, Soul of Elements. It leverages low-cost mana creatures and land ramp on turns 1 and 2 to deploy Animar ahead of curve. Once Animar is on the battlefield, each subsequent creature spell grows Animar with +1/+1 counters, discounting future creature spells by {1} generic mana per counter. The deck converts this mana velocity into overwhelming card advantage using draw engines like Beast Whisperer, Elemental Bond, and Temur Ascendancy. By turns 4 and 5, Animar's cost reduction allows the deck to cast game-ending colorless Eldrazi titans, including Kozilek, Butcher of Truth, Ulamog, the Ceaseless Hunger, and Apex Devastator, for virtually free. Innate protection from white and black shields Animar from premier removal spells, while uncounterable effects and board protection ensure the creature assault overwhelms the table over turns 6 and 7.
