Deck overview

This is a Jeskai control deck built around the Partner pair of Ishai, Ojutai Dragonspeaker and Kraum, Ludevic's Opus. The primary strategy is to generate overwhelming card advantage and threat growth by punishing opponents for casting spells. Every time an opponent casts a spell, you get a +1/+1 counter on Ishai, a card draw from Kraum (on the second spell), and additional triggers from a suite of value engines like Rhystic Study, Consecrated Sphinx, Faerie Mastermind, Mangara, the Diplomat, and Alphinaud Leveilleur. The deck packs a massive 22 counterspells and a dense instant-speed interaction suite to protect its board and deny opponents' key plays. It wins through incremental combat damage from its growing commander(s), Niv-Mizzet, Parun pings, and other flyers. There are no infinite combos; the deck relies on out-valuing the table through sheer card flow and stack control.
