Bracket: 4

Deck overview

This Izzet Pirates deck helmed by Malcolm, Keen-Eyed Navigator and Breeches, Brazen Plunderer leverages combat damage from pirates to generate Treasure tokens and exile opponents cards for value. The primary game plan is to deploy a critical mass of pirates, attack to trigger both commanders, then use the resulting mana and card advantage to assemble infinite combat loops (Kiki-Jiki, Mirror Breaker + Zealous Conscripts or Combat Celebrant) or overwhelm with artifact synergies (Hellkite Tyrant, Cyberdrive Awakener). The deck also includes strong recursion via Underworld Breach and a dense interaction suite. While the commanders provide consistent value, the lack of tutors makes finding combo pieces unreliable, and the deck is vulnerable to board wipes that reset its creature-based engine.
