Deck overview

Basandra, Battle Seraph leads a Boros combat-control deck that punishes attacks instead of racing. The primary plan is to lock down combat with Basandra's "no spells during combat" clause, pillow-fort taxes (Ghostly Prison, Archangel of Tithes), and attack punishers (Lightmine Field, The Akroan War), then convert a crowded board into lethal damage with Repercussion plus Blasphemous Act or Chain Reaction. Secondary paths are goad effects (Disrupt Decorum, Nelly Borca) and angel beatdown with Aurelia, the Law Above and Battle Angels of Tyr. Seluma, Light of Aysen acts as a hidden recursion engine, returning Angels from the graveyard. Basandra is an enabler, not an engine; the deck can pivot to stax and angel beats without her.
