Deck overview

This is a Golgari Elf tribal midrange deck helmed by High Perfect Morcant. The plan is classic elfball-flood the board with dorks and token-makers, overlay lords and anthems, then close through combat, a poison swing, or a life-drain finish. Morcant layers a distinct -1/-1 counter subtheme on top: every Elf ETB blights each opponent, and tapping three Elves proliferates those counters (and your own +1/+1s). Payoffs like Blowfly Infestation, Flourishing Defenses, and Obelisk Spider turn blight into board wipes, token storms, and drains. Secondary finishers include Triumph of the Hordes for a table-wide infect kill and Lathril, Blade of the Elves's tap-ten drain. The deck is dense with mana elves and token engines, plays a fair interaction suite, and rebuilds through recursion and sticky go-wide boards rather than fragile two-card combos.
