Deck overview

This Golgari deck is led by Chatterfang, Squirrel General, focusing on wide token generation, creature-type synergies, and aristocrat attrition. Chatterfang acts as both a token multiplier and an onboard removal engine, turning every Food, Clue, Treasure, and creature token into an additional 1/1 green Squirrel. The deck accumulates resources using engines such as Skullclamp, Toski, Bearer of Secrets, and Academy Manufactor, and translates broad boards into pressure through Beastmaster Ascension, Deep Forest Hermit, and Valley Rotcaller. Opponent interaction is managed through versatile Golgari removal spells alongside Chatterfang's activated ability to shrink and eliminate opposing creatures. While the list lacks fast infinite combos and compact tutors, it sustains high velocity through robust card draw and overlapping token generation.
