Deck overview

This Naya midrange and combo deck is commanded by Rocco, Street Chef, leveraging impulse draw, +1/+1 counters, and Food tokens into an escalating resource engine. The early turns focus on deploying 1-2 CMC mana dorks and rocks to cast Rocco on Turn 2 or 3. Once active, Rocco exiles cards each end step, turning every exile play into +1/+1 counters and Food artifacts. The deck rapidly scales these resources using token multipliers like Academy Manufactor and counter enhancers like Branching Evolution and Kami of Whispered Hopes. The midgame translates this board state into overwhelming mana through Night of the Sweets' Revenge or an infinite 4/4 Beast token swarm using Herd Baloth and Rosie Cotton of South Lane. Evasion enablers such as Abzan Falconer and Sphere Grid guarantee that massive ground forces break through opposing defenses. While Rocco grants symmetrical card options to opponents, the deck breaks parity through concentrated synergies and explosive combat finishes.
