Deck overview

This deck is a colorless ramp and stompy build commanded by Ultima, Origin of Oblivion. The core game plan focuses on utilizing early colorless utility lands, rocks, and equipment to land Ultima by Turn 4. Once Ultima is active, its passive ability doubles the mana generated by lands tapping for colorless mana, creating an enormous mana leap on Turn 5. This mana fuels overwhelming Eldrazi titans and high-cost artifact monstrosities like Ulamog, the Ceaseless Hunger, Cityscape Leveler, and Zhulodok, Void Gorger. While casting these behemoths provides immediate cast-trigger removal that bypasses countermagic, the deck closes the game through oppressive combat damage and annihilator triggers over Turns 6 and 7.
