Deck overview

This deck is an Abzan Enchantress midrange strategy commanded by Anikthea, Hand of Erebos. The game plan revolves around deploying cheap enchantress engines and cost reducers in the early turns, filtering high-value enchantments into the graveyard via self-mill spells like Commune with the Gods and Ripples of Undeath. Once Anikthea enters, she reanimates key enchantments as 3/3 black Zombie creatures with menace. The deck compounds this board presence using token generators such as Sigil of the Empty Throne and Archon of Sun's Grace, as well as anthem and evasion enablers like Mirari's Wake and Soaring Lightbringer. Defensively, Sphere of Safety protects against crackbacks while versatile Abzan removal keeps key opponent threats off the board. Victory is achieved through overwhelming, evasive combat damage.
