Cass's Pet T-Rex by user2429458

Format: Commander

Commander: Ghalta, Primal Hunger

Bracket: 2

Deck overview

This is a mono-green "Stompy" build helmed by Ghalta, Primal Hunger. The primary plan is to accelerate into large power-threshold creatures, using them both to reduce Ghalta's cost and as fuel for draw engines like Garruk's Uprising and Elemental Bond. The deck wins through combat via overwhelming Craterhoof Behemoth, Overwhelming Stampede, or repeated giant attackers with trample. There are no infinite combos, and the commander is a cost-reduced threat rather than an engine-the deck can function without it. The average mana value is 4.30, but heavy ramp and cost reducers help cast spells on a reasonable curve.
