Deck overview

This Selesnya deck is commanded by Lathiel, the Bounteous Dawn, translating continuous life gain into explosive +1/+1 counter distribution across a wide creature board. The deck relies on high functional redundancy among low-mana lifegain enablers such as Soul Warden, Essence Warden, and Healer's Hawk, which immediately empower payoff creatures like Voice of the Blessed, Sunscorch Regent, and Aerith Gainsborough. Counter doublers and amplifiers including Hardened Scales, Conclave Mentor, and Branching Evolution accelerate power growth exponentially. While the deck contains an un-tutored two-card infinite combo with Archangel of Thune and Spike Feeder, its primary path to victory is overwhelming combat damage, backed by alternate win conditions like Felidar Sovereign and Test of Endurance. A robust suite of low-cost instant protection spells like Dawn's Truce, Galadriel's Dismissal, and Blossoming Defense shields the board from targeted removal and sweepers, ensuring the deck maintains board presence and closes games reliably around Turn 7.
