Format: Commander

Commander: Ayara, First of Locthwain

Bracket: 4

Deck overview

Baron Ayara leads a mono-black aristocrats build that blurs the line between token swarm and graveyard recursion. The commander is both a life-drain trigger and a card-draw outlet: every black creature entering-including herself-dents all opponents, while sacrificing tokens draws cards. Secondary paths are big-mana plays through Bubbling Muck and Songs of the Damned, plus reanimation via Unearth and Victimize. The deck's finishers are devotion-draining Gray Merchant of Asphodel, Abhorrent Overlord token bursts, and the Blood Artist / Zulaport Cutthroat death triggers. Tevesh Szat hangs in the 99 as an extra token maker and draw engine. The plan is flexible but dependent on Ayara staying on the battlefield.
