Balthier and Fran, Doom from the skies by user4910649

Format: Commander

Commander: Balthier and Fran

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

This Gruul Vehicle deck wins through sequential combat damage. Balthier and Fran gives your Vehicles +1/+1, reach and vigilance and creates an extra combat phase when a Vehicle it crewed attacks and you pay {1}{R}{G}. You assemble 2-3 Vehicles, crew them with the commander, Pilots like Dynamite Diver and tokens from Esika's Chariot and Loyal Apprentice, then take two combats per turn. Bello, Bard of the Brambles acts as a hidden commander by turning artifacts that cost 4 or more into 4/4 indestructible hasty creatures that draw cards on hit, so you can attack without crewing. Finishers like Unnatural Growth, Thunderous Velocipede and Start Your Engines scale the double combats to lethal.
