Deck overview

This deck is an explosive, highly optimized Jund Midrange deck led by Henzie "Toolbox" Torre. By leveraging a dense suite of one-mana mana dorks, Henzie consistently enters the battlefield on Turn 2, allowing the deck to blitz four-mana and greater creatures starting on Turn 3. Blitz grants inherent haste and a death-trigger card draw, transforming high-cost creatures into immediate combat pressure, ETB value, and self-replenishing card flow. Mid-game turns feature devastating curve-toppers such as Etali, Primal Conqueror, Archon of Cruelty, and Protean Hulk that tear apart opposing resources. Mass reanimation from Living Death and Bringer of the Last Gift capitalizes on the stocked graveyard to recur overwhelming boards with haste. While resilient against single-target removal thanks to blitz death triggers, the deck must navigate well-timed graveyard hate and wide board wipes.
