Deck overview

This is a classic Izzet spellslinger deck helmed by Niv-Mizzet, Parun, built to chain instants and sorceries into a storm of triggers. Every spell cast draws a card off Niv's second ability, which in turn pings via his first, while a supporting cast of Guttersnipe, Erebor Flamesmith, and Thermo-Alchemist convert each cast into direct damage and Talrand, Sky Summoner, Murmuring Mystic, Young Pyromancer, and Cryptic Pursuit turn the same casts into a flying token army. The primary win condition is the classic infinite loop: Curiosity or Tandem Lookout on Niv turns every card drawn into 1 damage, which draws another card, and so on - an uncounterable, instant-speed kill once assembled. Secondary paths are pinger/token beatdown and a modest delve-fueled card-advantage engine. The deck is a glass-cannon value engine that lives and dies by keeping its 6-mana commander on the battlefield.
