Deck overview

This deck is an explosive Izzet token-swarm and artifact-ramp strategy built around Ovika, Enigma Goliath. It prioritizes heavy early-game mana acceleration through 1-to-4 CMC artifacts like Sol Ring, Arcane Signet, and Thran Dynamo to deploy its 7-mana commander ahead of curve on Turn 4 or 5. Once Ovika resolves, every noncreature spell generates an army of 1/1 Phyrexian Goblin creature tokens with haste equal to the spell's mana value. The deck converts these tokens into overwhelming advantages using mass card draw from Skullclamp and Kindred Discovery, direct burn from Impact Tremors and Molten Gatekeeper, or massive combat damage through Shared Animosity and City on Fire. Free protection spells like Deflecting Swat and Fierce Guardianship shield the commander during decisive windows, enabling the deck to reliably close out games by Turn 6.
