Deck overview

Felothar the Steadfast leads an Abzan toughness-matters deck that turns defender walls into weapons. His static ability lets every creature assign combat damage equal to toughness and attack despite defender, while his activated ability turns high-toughness creatures into card draw. The primary plan is to ramp into Felothar, build a wall board, then use Canopy Gargantuan to compound +1/+1 counters until the total toughness is lethal. Betor, Kin to All offers an alternate end-step drain, and Assault Formation, Baldin, and Kingpin act as backup enablers. The deck wins through repeated large combat steps or Betor's life-loss trigger, with Colfenor's Urn and reanimation spells recovering from wipes.
