Deck overview

This deck is a Gruul artifact-aggro strategy centered on Aerid Konstrari. It accelerates mana in the early turns using artifact lands, mana rocks, and token producers like Tireless Provisioner. On turn 4, casting the commander creates a Heartwood token, fixing mana and increasing artifact density. By turn 5, the deck transitions into an aggressive aerial threat, using Aerid's repeatable pump ability and power-boosting equipment like Nettlecyst and The Reaver Cleaver to deal massive chunks of flying damage. While its primary route to victory is sequential combat elimination, the deck includes high-impact alternate win conditions such as Hellkite Tyrant and the infinite combat combo of Godo, Bandit Warlord and Helm of the Host. The deck recovers quickly from removal thanks to Aerid's death trigger generating mana tokens, but its prolonged multi-turn combat clock leaves it exposed to sweepers.
