Deck overview

This deck is a Temur Spellslinger Storm strategy led by Iroh, Grand Lotus. It leverages Iroh's ability to give non-Lesson instants and sorceries flashback for their mana costs and Lesson cards flashback for just {1}. The deck accelerates through early turns using efficient mana creatures, cost reducers, and rituals. Once an engine piece like Archmage Emeritus, Storm-Kiln Artist, or Birgi, God of Storytelling is established, the deck chains cheap spells and Lessons from hand and graveyard to draw through the library and generate vast quantities of mana. Victory is achieved in a single explosive turn through table-wide burn triggers from Guttersnipe, Coruscation Mage, and Vivi Ornitier, massive storm copies via Grapeshot and Thousand-Year Storm, or an infinite mana loop with Jeska's Will and Reiterate. Robust free countermagic and redirection protect the winning turn.
