Deck overview

This deck is an optimized cEDH mono-blue control and combo list helmed by Urza, Lord High Artificer. Urza functions simultaneously as an explosive ramp engine, a stax parity-breaker, and a win outlet in the command zone. The deck uses fast artifact mana rocks and cost reducers to cast Urza by turn 3, immediately turning all nonland artifacts into blue mana sources. It controls the tempo of the table through dense countermagic and asymmetric stax locks like Winter Orb and Static Orb, which Urza taps before your untap step to freeze opponents while keeping your own mana fully open. The primary win condition is assembling Isochron Scepter imprinted with Dramatic Reversal on turn 4. With Urza and artifact mana producers, this generates infinite mana, allowing Urza to exile the entire library and win immediately via Thassa's Oracle or Walking Ballista.
