Deck overview

This deck is an Esper control and topdeck-manipulation strategy helmed by Yennett, Cryptic Sovereign. The primary game plan focuses on deploying early ramp and library-ordering tools such as Sensei's Divining Top, Aminatou, the Fateshifter, and Ponder to set up Yennett's attack trigger. On Turn 5, Yennett attacks to cast devastating odd-mana-value spells for free, bypassing their massive casting costs. Cheating cards like Expropriate, Breach the Multiverse, Void Winnower, and Toxrill, the Corrosive allows the deck to seize total board dominance, lock opponents out of critical spells, and close out the table in combat across two subsequent turns. The deck backs up this strategy with efficient single-target removal, taxing enchantments, and alternate win lines via Laboratory Maniac and Demonic Consultation.
