Deck overview

Moseo, Vein's New Dean leads a synergistic Mono-Black Lifegain Reanimator strategy that blends aristocrats drain with heavy reanimation. The deck curves into Moseo on Turn 3, using the Pest token's attack or cheap lifegain enablers to trigger Infusion at each end step. This recurs high-impact creatures directly from the graveyard without extra mana investment. Key bombs like Gray Merchant of Asphodel, Kokusho, the Evening Star, and Sheoldred, the Apocalypse rapidly drain opposing life totals while feeding life back into the engine. The deck also features an instant-win combination with Vito, Thorn of the Dusk Rose and Bloodthirsty Conqueror. Mono-black mana ramp like Cabal Coffers, Crypt Ghast, and Nykthos, Shrine to Nyx fuels massive midgame plays and lethal Exsanguinate finishes. While vulnerable to graveyard hate and artifact-based combos, the deck provides strong creature removal, resilient recursive engines, and high life total buffers.
