Deck overview

This deck is a focused mono-black aristocrats and attrition strategy led by Sephiroth, Fabled SOLDIER // Sephiroth, One-Winged Angel. The game plan establishes early token generators like Bitterblossom and Jadar, Ghoulcaller of Nephalia alongside sacrifice outlets such as Ashnod's Altar and Carrion Feeder. Sephiroth converts early sacrifices into card draw and life drain, transforming into Sephiroth, One-Winged Angel when four creatures die in a single turn. Transforming creates an unremovable emblem that drains opponents whenever any creature dies. Supported by asymmetric stax pieces such as Grave Pact and Braids, Cabal Minion, the deck continuously wipes opposing boards while breaking parity with disposable tokens. High-velocity payoffs including Bolas's Citadel, Pitiless Plunderer, Mirkwood Bats, and Torment of Hailfire convert accumulated resources into a decisive table-wide finish.
