Deck overview

This deck is a mono-red Dragon tribal stompy list commanded by Lathliss, Dragon Queen. The strategy accelerates mana in the early turns using cost reducers and mana artifacts, then deploys Lathliss on turn 5. Once Lathliss is on the battlefield, every subsequent Dragon spell creates an additional 5/5 flying Dragon token. The deck leverages explosive burn damage from cards like Dragon Tempest, Scourge of Valkas, and Terror of Mount Velus to clear opposing blockers and reduce life totals quickly. Mass damage spells like Desolation of Smaug and Breath Weapon selectively clear smaller opposing creatures while leaving your large Dragons unharmed. The deck aims to close the game between turns 6 and 8 through overwhelming aerial combat damage, commander firebreathing activations, and direct damage triggers.
