Deck overview

This Sultai deck harnesses Jorn, God of Winter // Kaldring, the Rimestaff to double mana output by untapping all snow permanents on attack. Operating on a base of 39 snow lands, the deck uses early two-mana ramp spells to deploy Jorn on turn 3 and attack on turn 4. The resulting surplus of mana funds massive card-draw sorceries and high-impact engine creatures such as Tatyova, Benthic Druid, Aesi, Tyrant of Gyre Strait, and Soul of the Harvest. Once an overwhelming resource advantage is established, the deck pivots into large flying and trampling threats like Dread, Kothophed, Soul Hoarder, and Archfiend of Depravity to control opposing creature boards and secure a combat victory. While resilient against single-target removal due to steady card draw and recursion via Kaldring, the Rimestaff, the deck lacks instant-speed protection and takes several combat steps to defeat the entire table.
