Beorn by brewbeard

Format: Commander

Commander: Beorn the Fierce

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

Beorn the Fierce leads a mono-green Bear-tribal deck built around fast ramp, a wide board of Bears, and enormous trampling combat swings. The plan is to develop cheap Bears and changelings early, land Beorn on turn four or five, then use his combat trigger to put trample counters on the squad and draw two cards once three Bears are on the battlefield. The deck keeps feeding itself with tokens, landfall triggers, and combat draw while setting up one massive alpha strike. Primary wins are Craterhoof Behemoth, Overwhelming Stampede, Unnatural Growth, and the ability to distribute 40+ damage to each opponent in a single combat. There are no infinite combos; this is a raw-mana, go-wide combat deck. Hidden commanders like Ayula, Queen Among Bears, Goreclaw, Terror of Qal Sisma, and The Earth King give it flexibility when Beorn is taxed out.
