Deck overview

This five-color Commander deck centers on Ashling, the Limitless, converting Elemental permanent spells into rapid-fire value engines. By granting evoke {4} and copying sacrificed nontoken Elementals as hasted tokens, Ashling doubles enter-the-battlefield abilities and provides explosive turns. The deck ramps on turns 1 through 3 with specialized mana dorks like Smokebraider and Flamebraider. On turn 4, Ashling begins duplicating utility creatures such as Mulldrifter, Shriekmaw, and Risen Reef to flood the hand and board with resources. By turns 5 and 6, heavy hitters like Omnath, Locus of Rage, Avenger of Zendikar, and Maelstrom Wanderer hit the battlefield, creating overwhelming token swarms. Combat finishers like Jubilation and Return of the Wildspeaker pump the team to eliminate opponents over two combat rotations by turn 8. Standalone legends like Horde of Notions and Muldrotha, the Gravetide ensure resilient recovery even if Ashling is removed.
