Commander: Bre of Clan Stoutarm

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

Bre of Clan Stoutarm pilots a Boros lifegain-tempo deck that turns incidental lifegain into free spells from the top of the library. The primary plan is to establish small lifelink and angel threats, use Bre's end-step trigger to chain cheap value spells, then pivot into life-scaled finishers: Soul of Eternity and Evra, Halcyon Witness. Brion Stoutarm acts as the hidden commander and outlet, sacrificing those huge creatures to deal damage equal to their power while his own lifelink refunds the life. Kinscaer Sentry can cheat attackers into play, and Legion's Initiative or Moogles' Valor provides mass protection. Without tutors or land ramp, the deck plays a patient value game before attempting a one- or two-turn kill.
