Deck overview

This deck is an aggressive Izzet Equipment Voltron strategy commanded by Tony Stark // The Invincible Iron Man. The early game focuses on deploying Tony Stark on Turn 2, utilizing his activated ability to dig through the top four cards of the library each turn for key artifacts while building up mana velocity through cost reducers and mana rocks. On Turn 5, the deck pays six mana to transform Tony into The Invincible Iron Man, who enters combat with flying, haste, and a powerful triggered ability that cheats high-cost Equipment directly from hand onto the battlefield attached to him. Heavy armaments such as Colossus Hammer, Hulkbuster Armor, and Argentum Armor turn Iron Man into a lethal flying threat capable of eliminating opponents sequentially across three combats. A suite of premier free counterspells and protective equipment defends this narrow Voltron axis against opposing interaction.
