Deck overview

This deck is an aggressive Mardu combat strategy centered around Isshin, Two Heavens as One. The primary game plan deploys low-cost attackers that create creature tokens whenever they attack, such as Adeline, Resplendent Cathar, Anim Pakal, Thousandth Moon, and Brimaz, King of Oreskos. When Isshin enters the battlefield, his static ability doubles every attacking trigger, quickly swarming the battlefield with attacking tokens in a single combat step. The deck converts this wide token presence into rapid table-wide life loss using group-drain triggers like Mishra, Claimed by Gix, Commissar Severina Raine, and Arabella, Abandoned Doll, or powerful team buffs like Akroma's Will. The mana base relies on basic lands supported by attack-triggered ramp equipment and creatures. Protective spells like Flawless Maneuver, Boros Charm, and Myrel, Shield of Argive safeguard attacking boards against opposing disruption, enabling consistent lethal finishes by Turn 6.
