Commander: The Howling Abomination

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

An RG spells/heroic deck built around The Howling Abomination as both trigger engine and finisher: every cheap targeted spell makes it larger and deals 2 damage to each opponent. The real hidden commander is Zada, Hedron Grinder, who turns each single-target spell into a copied spell for every other creature; Mirrorwing Dragon and Leyline of Resonance are secondary amplifiers. Storm-Kiln Artist, Young Pyromancer, Season of Growth, and buyback spells let the copy chain refresh its mana and hand. The typical winning line is one storming turn: enough targeted spells and copied spells to generate 20+ Howling triggers, with the trampling commander attacking when the pings have not already ended the game.
