Deck overview

This Bant Voltron deck leverages Rafiq of the Many to eliminate opponents through rapid commander damage. The game plan focuses on deploying early mana acceleration, landing Rafiq on Turn 3, and attacking alone on Turn 4 to exploit his innate double strike and stacked Exalted triggers. High-impact Auras such as Steel of the Godhead, Finest Hour, and Eldrazi Conscription allow Rafiq to eliminate a player in one or two attacks. The deck balances aggression with defensive stax pieces like Dueling Grounds and Silent Arbiter, which force opponents into single-creature combats where Rafiq dominates. Protection spells and Umbra Auras keep Rafiq safe from targeted removal and sweepers, while card engines like Cold-Eyed Selkie and Sythis, Harvest's Hand maintain card velocity. While vulnerable to edict effects and sequential turn clocks, the deck delivers lethal, linear combat pressure.
