Deck overview

This deck is a classic Orzhov Aristocrats strategy led by Elenda, the Dusk Rose. The game plan focuses on deploying inexpensive sacrifice outlets and recursive creatures to steadily grow Elenda with +1/+1 counters as creatures die. Once Elenda reaches significant power, sacrificing her generates an army of 1/1 lifelink Vampire tokens. These tokens trigger death and drain abilities from cards like Blood Artist, Elas il-Kor, Sadistic Pilgrim, and Mirkwood Bats, rapidly depleting opponents' life totals while keeping your own life total high. The deck backs up this strategy with asymmetric board wipes such as Slash the Ranks and Divine Reckoning, which clear opposing boards while fueling Elenda's growth. Resilience is maintained through graveyard recursion and protective spells like Guardian of Faith and Faith's Reward, enabling the deck to rebuild quickly and close games by Turn 8 through overwhelming combat damage and drain triggers.
