Deck overview

Grixis Sauron is a midrange swarm deck that uses the Ring tempts mechanic to draw cards and grow Wraiths. Sauron is the primary engine: every Ring tempt can become a four-card refill, and his amass trigger punishes opponents' spells. The real payoff pair is Lord of the Nazgul and Saruman, the White Hand, who turn instants/sorceries and noncreature spells into Wraiths and an Army. Nazgul, Ringsight, and In the Darkness Bind Them provide repeated Ring tempts. The usual finish is a critical mass of Wraiths made 9/9 by Lord of the Nazgul and doubled by Uncivil Unrest. Secondary paths include All Will Be One burning with amass and Rise of the Dark Realms after a long game. There is no double-faced commander; Sauron is the only commander.
