Deck overview

This deck is a classic Dimir tempo-burn strategy led by Yuriko, the Tiger's Shadow. It deploys unblockable or flying 0- and 1-mana creatures on Turn 1 to enable Turn 2 Commander Ninjutsu. Once active, Yuriko turns every connecting Ninja into card advantage and table-wide life loss. The list maximizes burn damage by packing high-mana-value spells like Draco, Commit // Memory, Dig Through Time, and The Lord of the Eagles, which are manipulated to the top of the library using Brainstorm, Index, and Spy Network. The interaction suite mixes tempo bounce, counterspells, and light stax pieces like Mana Maze to slow down opposing combo and ramp lines while pressing a relentless damage clock.
