Commander: Phelddagrif

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

This deck uses Phelddagrif as a political tool and a decisive combo outlet within a Bant pillowfort shell. Early turns focus on mana ramp and defensive enchantments like Ghostly Prison and Authority of the Consuls to deter attacks. While opponents commit resources, you draw cards and assemble key engines. The primary win condition loops Phelddagrif or Questing Phelddagrif with Intruder Alarm and a green mana creature to gift opponents infinite Hippo tokens, triggering lethal life drain through Suture Priest. Secondary paths win through combat swarms with Adeline, Resplendent Cathar, an overrun from Nissa, Ascended Animist, or a sudden lethal strike using Reins of Power.
