Commander: Tiamat

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

Tiamat heads a five-color Dragon toolbox. The plan is straightforward: ramp and fix the first few turns, cast Tiamat as early as possible, and use her cast trigger to put five Dragons directly into hand. From there, the deck overwhelms with evasive, high-power Dragons, accelerating with Temur Ascendancy, doubling key triggers with Roaming Throne, and cashing in combat triggers from Ancient Silver Dragon, Ancient Copper Dragon, and Ancient Brass Dragon. Its cleanest burst finish is the Wrathful Red Dragon enrage nuke, turning a mass burn spell into a one-turn kill; Terror of the Peaks provides a second ETB-burn channel, and Hellkite Tyrant offers an artifact-based alternate win. The commander is both the engine and the payoff, but the 99 can still fall back on a straightforward Dragon beatdown game if she is answered.
