IRL Ragost by user3420159

Format: Commander

Commander: Ragost, Deft Gastronaut

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

Ragost, Deft Gastronaut turns every artifact into a Food, making Boros artifacts a life-gain and sacrifice engine. The primary plan is to generate a flood of artifact tokens with Transmutation Font, Academy Manufactor, Nuka-Cola Vending Machine, Apothecary White, and Stridehangar Automaton, then convert them into mana, life, recursion, and damage. Ragost acts as both a life sink and a repeatable 3-damage finisher, while Reckless Fireweaver and Ingenious Artillerist turn artifact entry into group burn. Secondary wins come from Wake the Past mass recursion or Daretti value loops. There is no hidden commander; the deck is built around a virtual artifacts-as-Foods engine rather than either face of a transforming commander.
