Deck overview

This Simic midrange deck utilizes Ezuri, Claw of Progress to turn an army of low-power utility creatures into massive combat threats. The primary game plan ramps into Ezuri on Turn 3 or 4, rapidly stacking experience counters by casting creatures with power 2 or less. At each combat step, Ezuri distributes +1/+1 counters equal to experience counters, accelerating mid-game attackers into game-ending threats alongside trample enablers like Garruk's Uprising and Gnarlid Colony. The deck features an infinite creature and counter combo using Ivy Lane Denizen and Scurry Oak, as well as alternate win conditions such as Craterhoof Behemoth and Simic Ascendancy. Interaction consists of efficient blue counterspells, permanent-neutralizing green-blue auras, and selective protection spells like Tamiyo's Safekeeping. While vulnerable to mass creature sweepers due to its heavy board commitment, the deck generates compounding combat math and strong mid-game pressure.
