Deck overview

T'Challa, the Black Panther leads a Selesnya artifact-midrange strategy that translates artifact mana acceleration into commanding combat pressure. The deck centers on casting high-cost artifact spells (mana value 4 or greater) to grow T'Challa with +1/+1 counters while generating indestructible Vibranium tokens on entry and attack. Early turns focus on deploying efficient ramp and tribal-adjacent support like W'Kabi, Shield of the Nation and Zuri, Warrior of Wakanda. By Turn 4, T'Challa attacks to expand your mana pool and deploy impactful 4-drop equipment, vehicles, and utility artifacts. As the game transitions into the midgame, token generation scales alongside formidable threats like Bast, Panther Goddess, Metalwork Colossus, and Storm, Queen of Wakanda. Combat finishers such as Overwhelming Stampede and monarch-driven card advantage keep the pressure relentless. While vulnerable to mass exile effects, the deck maintains steady resilience through indestructible artifacts and robust recovery lines.
