Deck overview

This deck is a Grixis control strategy commanded by Kefka, Court Mage. The game plan focuses on casting Kefka on Turn 4 or 5 to immediately force a four-player discard trigger, generating substantial card draw based on the discarded card types. The deck then uses a dense suite of cheap blink spells like Ghostly Flicker, Essence Flux, and Displace, alongside Wizard doublers like Harmonic Prodigy and Naban, Dean of Iteration, to trigger Kefka repeatedly. This rapidly strips opponents of their hands while giving the pilot a massive card advantage. Early turns are stabilized with low-cost deathtouch blockers and efficient countermagic. Once opponents are constrained to top-deck mode, the deck closes the game by casting Rise of the Dark Realms to reanimate all discarded creatures, transforming Kefka into Kefka, Ruler of Ruin, or assembling the infinite mana loop with Naru Meha, Master Wizard and Ghostly Flicker.
