Deck overview

This deck is a mono-blue spellslinger tempo deck commanded by Namor the Sub-Mariner. Namor converts noncreature spells featuring blue mana symbols directly into 1/1 Merfolk tokens, simultaneously scaling his own power in the air. The list pairs low-cost cantrips, cost reducers, and efficient interaction with token-producing engines to control the table while amassing a wide board. Once Namor and his token school reach critical mass, the deck closes the game through evasive commander damage and wide token pressure, supported by extra-turn sorceries like Time Warp and convoke draw spells like Harmonized Crescendo. While the deck excels at reactive counterplay and burst board growth, it relies on combat damage and lacks fast combo wins, leaving it vulnerable to mass board sweepers.
