The Emperor of Palamecia - Joy by EnJoy

Format: Commander

Commander: The Emperor of Palamecia // The Lord Master of Hell

Bracket: 2

Deck overview

This is an Izzet spellslinger build that uses The Emperor of Palamecia's front face as a compact mana engine for noncreature spells while stacking +1/+1 counters from high-cost noncreature spells. The deck is built to transform it into The Lord Master of Hell, then make Starfall lethal by stuffing the graveyard with noncreature, nonland cards via Cut Your Losses casualty self-mill, Traumatize, and looting. Roaming Throne is the hidden accelerator; it doubles the Emperor's counter triggers and can be sacrificed to fuel Casualty. Backup wins come from Talrand/Hermes tokens, Rise from the Tides, and Snort burn. The plan is flexible but commander-centric, with the transformed back face as the intended finisher.
