Balan with a lot of weapons - Commander by user2857152

Format: Commander

Commander: Balan, Wandering Knight

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

This is a focused mono-white Equipment Voltron deck helmed by Balan, Wandering Knight. The primary game plan is to suit up Balan with multiple Equipment, leveraging his ability to attach all Equipment at once and gain double strike when two or more are attached. The deck is packed with Equipment tutors (Stoneforge Mystic, Steelshaper's Gift, Open the Armory, Enlightened Tutor, Relic Seeker, Armored Skyhunter, Stonehewer Giant) and a suite of value Swords that provide protection, card advantage, mana, and recursion. Secondary win conditions include combat damage from other equipped creatures like Adelbert Steiner or Cloud, Midgar Mercenary, and using Buster Sword to cast free spells. The deck has a robust protection suite (Mithril Coat, Swiftfoot Boots, Lightning Greaves, Leonin Abunas, Grand Abolisher) and recursion via Sun Titan, Forge Anew, and Brilliant Restoration. It aims to close games through commander damage by turn 6-7.
