Deck overview

This deck is a aggressive Boros combat deck commanded by Raph & Leo, Sibling Rivals. The primary strategy focuses on curving out efficient double-strike creatures and high-value combat triggers, then attacking with Raph & Leo to untap two attackers and take an extra combat step each turn. This doubled combat step supercharges attack triggers from cards like Ancient Copper Dragon, The Reaver Cleaver, and Buster Sword while doubling the effectiveness of damage multipliers like Bruse Tarl, Boorish Herder, Jeska, Thrice Reborn, and Gisela, Blade of Goldnight. Proactive tap effects from Blind Obedience and Authority of the Consuls ensure opponents cannot deploy surprise blockers or counterattack effectively. While the deck possesses explosive single-target and multi-target lethality, its reliance on natural draws and standard combat steps makes it vulnerable to well-timed creature sweepers.
