The Great Goblin by user6858432

Format: Commander

Commander: The Great Goblin

Bracket: 2

Deck overview

An aggressive Rakdos Goblin deck built around The Great Goblin. The commander turns every +1/+1 or -1/-1 counter placed on your Goblins, Orcs, or Armies into 2 damage, while its death trigger converts sacrifices and board trade into free card advantage. The primary plan is to flood the board with cheap Goblins, then repeatedly apply counters through blight cards (Boggart Mischief, Sourbread Auntie, Sting-Slinger) and death-trigger drains (Bastion of Remembrance, Sling-Gang Lieutenant, Knucklebone Witch). A secondary go-wide combat plan uses Krenko, Mob Boss plus Shared Animosity to close games. The deck is commander-centric but can pivot to an aggressive swarm plan if The Great Goblin is unavailable.
