We Bare Bears by peanutbh

Format: Commander

Commander: Kudo, King Among Bears

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

Kudo is a go-wide commander that turns every creature into a 2/2 Bear, enabling Bear-matters payoffs and shrinking opponents' best sizes. The primary plan is cheap ramp into token makers, then finish with Craterhoof Behemoth, active Beastmaster Ascension, or overwhelming anthem beats. Secondary paths include +1/+1 counter synergies from Hardened Scales, Cathars' Crusade, Arwen, and token doubling via Elspeth. Ayula, Queen Among Bears acts as the hidden commander, since Kudo makes every creature a Bear and each entry can fight or grow. Kudo also neuters opposing utility creatures, but the deck remains a combat deck that must assemble either an overrun effect or a wide board to close.
