Deck overview

This is a Boros legendary-matters equipment voltron deck helmed by the partner pair Yoshimaru, Ever Faithful and Kediss, Emberclaw Familiar. Yoshimaru, Ever Faithful snowballs +1/+1 counters off every legendary permanent, while Kediss, Emberclaw Familiar converts commander combat damage into a three-opponent sweep - the deck's primary way to close out a multiplayer pod. The plan is to suit up a legendary with a dense equipment suite (Embercleave, Blackblade Reforged, The Reaver Cleaver) and finish via double-strike damage spread to the whole table. Historic/legendary synergies in Gandalf the White, Teshar, Ancestor's Apostle, Gloin, Dwarf Emissary, and Venat, Heart of Hydaelyn // Hydaelyn, the Mothercrystal generate value and card flow. Secondary wins include Chandra's Ignition on a huge suited commander and Akroma's Will as an overrun finisher. The protection suite is exceptionally deep, making the deck resilient through board wipes.
